Every new beginning starts somewhere.
A new language. A new job. A new opportunity. A new chapter.
GPCLL helps adults take the next step.
Learning Can Change What Comes Next
For some, learning means improving English, preparing for a test, building skills for work or continuing their education. For those new to Canada, it can also be part of building a new life and feeling at home in their community. At GPCLL, we believe everyone should have a place to start.

Who We Are

Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning (GPCLL) is a nonprofit society and registered charity serving adults and families in Grande Prairie and area.
We provide accessible learning opportunities supporting personal, educational, employment and community goals.
As part of Alberta’s Community Adult Learning Program network, we help diverse learners access learning and navigate barriers to education.
What We Do

We connect people with learning opportunities that can help them move toward their goals.
Our programs include English language learning, foundational skills, employment and workplace learning, citizenship and language testing preparation, tutoring, and family and community learning.
Some learners know exactly what they need. Others are still figuring it out. Either way, our team can help you find a place to begin.
Why We Do it

Learning can open the door to new possibilities.
Learning can help someone communicate more confidently, qualify for a job, continue their education, understand their community or feel more at home in a new country.
We know that not everyone starts from the same place. That’s why GPCLL works to make learning more accessible to people who may encounter barriers along the way.
