At the Council for Lifelong Learning we equip learners with skills that improve their lives through education. It is our mission to create inspiring experiences for learners so that they want to learn for a lifetime.
To enhance the skills on our board we are looking for applicants with experience in the following areas:
- Adult education
- Non for-profit
- Policy Development
- Community Relations
- Human Resources
- Immigration Services
- Special Event Planning
- Project Management
- Strategic Planning
While board experience is an asset, it is not required; we are happy to teach and provide learning opportunities through mentorship and training.
Additionally, we are looking to enhance several of our subcommittee with members of the community. We currently have openings on our Marketing, Fundraising and finance Committees.
