A free one-on-one program designed to help learners prepare for and be successful in their employment. Through personal learning activities/discussions and support in reading, writing and digital skills, learners will gain knowledge and confidence to apply for and be more engaged in their work.

This program is designed to help learners be successful in their employment. Learners will gain knowledge and confidence to apply for and be more engaged in their work as they choose activities/discussions from the following topics.
- Building Confidence and Self-Esteem
- Communication Skills
- Decision Making and Problem Solving
- Finding a Healthy Life Balance
- Goal Setting
- Personal Change
- Relationships and Personal Boundaries
- Resolving Conflict
- Study Skills
- Time Management
Support also given in reading, writing (i.e. cover letters, resumes) and digital skills (i.e. computer use, website navigation), based on the learner’s request
Offers a small class setting working on Math, English, Social and Science skills. To help prepare the learner to successfully write the GED exam.
Classes run Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm.
Terms: Fall: September – November
Winter: February – April

Fee: $480 per 12 week session (includes $80 for text books)
